Rex Lumber is proud to offer our customers our unique in-house capability of grooving lumber to fit Grad^® system, the 100% hidden fastener system that works with many species including Accoya®, Accoya Color®, Kebony®, and Ipe.

As an Official Grad^® Milling Partner, Rex Lumber specializes in running mouldings with Grad^® grooves. We will help you design or modify your mouldings to work with Grad^® Rails and run the profiles with the Grad^® grooves as part of the millwork process.

We also carry Grad® System rails including:

Mini Rails: Ideal for projects requiring a slim profile, such as cladding and ceiling sections. Its minimal thickness and smaller air gap allow for sleek installations where space is limited.

Start Rails: An aluminum track and POM Grad® clips. Suited for straightforward projects without specific constraints, including cladding, soffits, and ceiling sections. With a slightly thicker profile, Start Rail provides additional support where needed—offering a balance between simplicity and structural support for standard installations.

Structural Rails: Can withstand uniform loading of 100 pounds per square foot (psf). This unique strength capacity makes them the only rails used with pedestals to accommodate various installation conditions, with the ability to fill in clearance from 4” to 15” height.

Grad® Pedestal System: Can be used with Structural Rails to create platform and rooftop decks with multiple levels, meaning your customers can quite literally take projects to new heights without worry. Lightweight, easy to carry and TPO-friendly, the Pedestal System is well-suited for balconies and overtop waterproof membranes.
