What is Kebony?
Kebony isn’t a wood species – it’s a patented, eco-friendly modification process that transforms softwoods into a durable alternative to tropical hardwoods. Developed in Norway, Kebony’s strength comes from its Dually Modified™ process, which permanently alters the wood at a cellular level. The result is superior stability, hardness, and natural resistance to rot, decay, and insects, all backed by warranties up to 30 years. Kebony is the only fully code compliant modified wood decking in the U.S.
