Rex Lumber, a well-established, company in Acton, MA, is looking for a qualified assistant mechanic. Rex Lumber Company is one of the largest wholesale tropical and domestic hardwood distributors and custom moulding manufacturers on the Eastern Seaboard. Rex Lumber Company services woodworkers, retailers, store fixture manufacturers and other companies that use hardwood lumber and mouldings in their manufacturing processes throughout North America.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Assist lead mechanic repairing and maintaining a small fleet of company vehicles and equipment
- Help with Coordinating down time with a maintenance schedule
- Learning to Purchasing parts and supplies
- Coordinating large repairs with off-site garages or dealer
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year experience as a diesel mechanic.
This position requires someone who is organized, a self-starter and a team player.
