Rex Lumber, a well-established, company in Englishtown, NJ, is looking for an experienced CDL Class A Truck Driver. Rex Lumber Company is one of the largest wholesale tropical and domestic hardwood distributors and custom moulding manufacturers on the Eastern Seaboard. Rex Lumber Company services woodworkers, retailers, store fixture manufacturers and other companies that use hardwood lumber and mouldings in their manufacturing processes throughout North America.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Daily lumber delivers and occasional yard work.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Ensure lumber is secure for transit.
Rex Lumber retains the right to modify or change the duties at any time.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid CDL Class A Driver’s License.
- Must have a Valid Medical Examiner’s Card.
- Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of lumber species both domestic and tropical preferred.
- Must be able to read and write at a high school or GED level.
- Must be able to speak, understand and communicate safety to work related instructions.
